We are departing Nairobi after breakfast, heading south on a scenic drive with captivating rural views. You are arriving at your lodge or tented camp near Amboseli National Park in time for a leisurely lunch. In the afternoon, you are entering the park for your first game drive. You are immediately witnessing the park’s vast plains and, weather permitting, getting your first breathtaking glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak. You are spotting elephants, zebras and wildebeest before returning to your accommodation for dinner and your first night in the bush.
Day 2:
Full Day Exploring Amboseli National Park
Today, you are dedicating the entire day to exploring Amboseli’s diverse ecosystems. After an early breakfast, we are embarking on a morning game drive, heading to the observation hill for panoramic views and visiting the Enkongo Narok swamp, a magnet for elephants and hippos. You are returning to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, we are venturing out again, exploring different sectors of the park and seeking out lions, cheetahs, and massive herds of buffalo. The day is ending with a spectacular sunset view of Kilimanjaro.
Day 3:
Morning Game Drive and Afternoon at Leisure
We are starting with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active, offering fantastic photographic opportunities in the golden light. You are searching for Amboseli’s famous big tusker elephants and listening to the chorus of birdlife. You are returning to the lodge for a late breakfast. The afternoon is yours to relax. You are enjoying the lodge’s amenities, taking a dip in the pool, or simply soaking in the stunning views of the plains and mountain from the comfort of your private deck.
Day 4:
Amboseli to Lake Amboseli Region – Shifting Landscapes
After breakfast, we are checking out and enjoying one last short game drive as we exit the national park. We are transferring to a unique lodge or camp situated in the wider Amboseli ecosystem, closer to the seasonal Lake Amboseli. You are checking in and enjoying lunch. In the afternoon, we are taking a guided nature walk or a scenic drive around the lakebed area. You are learning about this vital seasonal water source and its role in the ecosystem while enjoying serene, crowd-free landscapes.
Day 5:
Exploring Lake Amboseli and Swamp Regions
Today, you are exploring the wetlands and woodlands surrounding Lake Amboseli. We are embarking on game drives in this private conservancy or community area, which often allows for off-road driving and closer wildlife encounters. You are observing the different flora and fauna attracted to this wetter habitat. The pace is relaxed, focusing on photography and in-depth observation. In the late afternoon, you are enjoying a special bush sundowner, toasting to the wilderness as the sky turns orange and pink over Kilimanjaro.
Day 6:

You are learning about their traditional nomadic way of life, social structure, and remarkable survival skills in this environment. This immersive visit is fostering a deep appreciation for Kenya’s living heritage. You are returning to your lodge for a farewell dinner.
